Welcome To Motward Timber Recycling Ltd

Motward Timber Recycling was established in 1999. MTRL was formed because of the increasing quantity of timber waste being generated by our pallet company, Motward Ltd, and increasing legislation regarding the disposal of waste materials in general. We are now pleased to offer a comprehensive industrial pallet and waste timber collection service.

About Us

Motward Timber Recycling Ltd can collect many types of timber waste from you or your customer's premises. Including damaged, dirty and non-standard pallets, packing cases, waste timber off-cuts and of course unwanted Euro and standard sized pallets. Items that cannot be repaired are processed through our own "chipping" machine for recycling into chipboard and similar products. In some cases revenue can be generated if pallets are re-usable, depending on type, condition and quantity.

We are fully licensed with the Environment Agency and provide approved Duty of Care documentation. This can be used as proof of legitimate disposal of wood waste in accordance with Government legislation.

We can collect any amount from fifty to five hundred pallets on our fleet. We can arrange to collect on a regular weekly or monthly basis or simply wait for your call to our office and arrange a prompt collection at your convenience. We can also offer a "One-off" collection service at competitive rates.

So next time you need to clear that unsightly, maybe even dangerous mountain of timber waste to free up valuable storage space, TRY US! We are sure that you will find we are extremely competitive compared to rising skip and landfill charges.

Wood Chipping Process

Our wood chipping machines can process up to twenty tonnes per hour!

Waste timber is processed through a huge wood shredding machine located at our Alconbury site. After the timber has been shredded it passes under powerful magnets which remove any nails or other metal present. Finished wood chip is then delivered to a number of clients, with the vast majority going to chipboard manufacturers. However it's not uncommon to find our wood chip in anything from animal bedding to flower beds!
